Rep. Sharice Davids backs new federal strategy for Medicaid expansion in Kansas

Kansas Medicaid expansion

Democratic U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids said she would support a new federal push to expand Medicaid, which could provide health care coverage to up to 165,000 more Kansans. The measure, contained in the larger $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation package, would create a federal Medicaid-style program to extend coverage eligibility to all individuals who earn up to 138% of the federal poverty level.
