Drivers can expect more traffic along State Line Road at Interstate 435 as various lanes will be closing beginning Friday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m.

Kansas City-based firm Superior Bowen will be resurfacing the roads along that section of State Line immediately north and south of I-435.

Due to the construction, on- and off-ramps from I-435 as well as at Carondelet Road, east of State Line, will be closed.

Both State Line exit ramps onto I-435 will also be closed entirely during the resurfacing.

The on-ramps to the highway from State Line are expected to experience intermittent closures throughout the construction.

“Drivers should be alert and follow the posted construction and detour routes,” the release says.

Construction is set to be completed by Monday, Nov. 1, at 5 a.m.
