The owners of Corbin Park shopping center are looking to develop apartments in unused retail space at the southeast corner of the high-traffic facility.

On Monday, the Overland Park Planning Commission approved an application to rezone three of the center’s single-story buildings near 135th Street and Metcalf Avenue for mixed use.
