New Charter Communications support center in Overland Park expected to bring 500 jobs to area

Charter Communications plans to bring more than 500 new jobs to the Overland Park area by the end of 2022, Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly announced Thursday.

The telecom and cable giant, which owns Spectrum, says it plans to invest nearly $19 million in opening a new customer retention center at 8501 W. 137th St., near by the busy intersection of Antioch and 135th Street.
