KC metro sets new record for COVID cases as hundreds line up for tests at Overland Park clinic

The average number of daily COVID cases in both Missouri and Kansas climbed to record levels on Monday, and hospitalizations are near all-time highs in the Kansas City metro. A record 2,016 new COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City metro area were reported by the Mid-America Regional Council on Tuesday.
