Scooter’s Coffee coming to 159th and Metcalf in Overland Park

Drive-thru beverage chain Scooter’s Coffee is set to open a new location in south Overland Park.

The Nebraska-based coffee franchise’s newest Johnson County location is coming soon to the Blue Valley Retail Center at 15885 Metcalf Ave., according to the company’s website.

Plans for the new store were approved last year

Last January, a final development plan for the 600-square-foot store was approved by the Overland Park City Council, according to city documents.
In the same plan, a 2,300-square-foot Taco Bell was approved to be constructed directly north of the new coffee shop, in the same center.

It will be Scooter’s 11th Overland Park location

Most recently, the coffee company opened a new franchise location at the southeast corner of 103rd Street and Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park.
In total, Scooter’s has over 450 drive-thru locations across 26 states.

Scooter’s sells coffee, teas and more

Started in 1998 in Nebraska, Scooter’s also serves up a variety of hot chocolates, smoothies and blenders.
The quick-service shop also typically offers food options, such as breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls and muffins.
